1. The service
VerityChain is a product of Careerlinkk Digital Ventures Ltd. It provides multi-tenant software for vendor onboarding, document hashing and extraction, sanctions/entity screening, risk scoring, and an immutable audit trail. Features available to you depend on your plan as described on /pricing.
2. Accounts & access
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
- Tenant users authenticate with email/password or enterprise SSO. External vendors authenticate only via scoped, expiring magic links.
- You are responsible for all activity under your organisation’s memberships, including decisions by compliance officers.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, fail payment, or present security risk.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the platform to evade sanctions, export controls, or money-laundering laws.
- Upload malware, unlawful content, or data you have no right to process.
- Probe, overload, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law.
- Resell access without a written partner agreement.
4. Compliance role of the product
VerityChain is a decision-support and evidence system. Screening matches and risk scores are informational; your staff remain responsible for final approve/reject decisions. We do not provide legal advice.
5. Fees, trials & billing
- Paid plans are priced in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless an Enterprise contract states otherwise.
- Self-serve payments are processed by Paystack and/or Flutterwave.
- Subscription periods renew for the interval you select until cancelled. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
- Invoices are issued by Careerlinkk Digital Ventures Ltd (RC 9652318).
6. Customer data & privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
7. Intellectual property
VerityChain, its software, branding, and documentation remain the property of Careerlinkk Digital Ventures Ltd. You retain ownership of Customer Data.
8. Warranties & disclaimers
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, implied warranties are excluded.
9. Liability
Except for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot be limited by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify Careerlinkk Digital Ventures Ltd against claims arising from Customer Data, your unlawful use of the service, or your failure to obtain required consents or lawful bases for processing.
11. Term & termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. Upon termination, access ends; data export and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and DPA.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection protections.
